Jessica Simpson is starring in a sizzling new commercial for fast food chain Pizza Hut that will debut during the Super Bowl broadcast next month. The advertisement sees Simpson send-up her sexy music video These Boots (Are Made For Walkin') (click to watch), changing the lyrics to, "These bites are made for poppin'," in reference to the Cheesy Bites featured in the commercial.

The former Newlyweds star then tosses the snacks into customers' mouths - causing one young male admirer to faint. A Pizza Hut representative says, "We've enjoyed working with her in the past. Needless to say, she had the whole crew's attention (during the shoot)!"

* R&B star Ashanti insists her new album hasn't been adversely affected by her mentor Irv Gotti's recent legal troubles. The Unfoolish singer, who is currently working on her third disc with music mogul Gotti and hip-hop star Ja Rule, insists the case in which Gotti and his brother Chris Lorenzo were accused of laundering money through their record company The Inc, is already a distant memory.

She says, "It's been really rough this year, but I think nothing can stop us. Me, Ja and Irv, we're in the studio recording music for our next album. Some of the songs are so hot that they were supposed to be for this remix album and we decided to keep them for the next record. Ja is coming out with a Greatest Hits album. We really are keeping things going."

* Rocker Alanis Morissette is loving her new life as a blonde bombshell - despite her fiance's initial reluctance to embrace her new image. The Ironic singer admits lightening her locks was a "whimsical choice" but insists she wanted to try something different.

However, the singer's future husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, took a while getting used to her dramatic new style. She says, "It was a hard adjustment for him, I think. He fell in love with a brunette, so... it took a little moment or two. But we're having fun now together with it!"

* Singing sensation Shakira is planning to call her next album Broody, because she is desperate for children. The Whenever, Wherever hitmaker, who has been dating Antonio de la Rua since 2000, admits she is longing for a baby of her own. She says, "Maybe (broody) will be the title of my next album. It's instinctive and so, of course, I get that feeling. All women are mothers - it's inside us as part of our animalistic nature. I'd love to have children and I'm going to go for it one day."
