In the opening weekend of the Big Throwdown II 2006 Tour, Joe Nichols discovered that it's not just tequila that makes her clothes fall off. Apparently his live performance has the same excitable effect on female concertgoers. Nichols joined Toby Keith on the 2006 leg of the tour this past weekend (Portland, Tacoma, Spokane) and the fans came armed with extra clothes, prepared for Nichols' recent No. 1 hit, 'Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,' the first single from his new CD III (click for review).

'I've never seen anything like it,' said Nichols' manager John Lytle. 'OK, we're all used to the lighters and matches lighting up an arena during a favorite song, but how often do you get to see clothes whipping in the air and hurling toward the stage. And not just a couple of shirts-I'm talking a lot of clothes.'

Nichols new single 'Size Matters (Someday)' entered the charts this week and is also proving to be a crowd favorite. The Universal South artist will be on tour with Keith throughout the year, as well as performing solo dates.
