Civil rights leader Reverand Jesse Jackson
will officiate at the funeral of late singer Lou Rawls
on Friday January 13.
The Grammy-winning star died in Los Angeles last Friday (Jan. 6) after battling lung and brain cancer. He was 72.
The Rawls family spokesman PAUL SHEFRIN said Jackson will lead last rites during the service at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles.
A public viewing of Rawls' body will be held at the Angelus Funeral Home from Thursday afternoon (Jan. 12).
