Reese Witherspoon* Reese Witherspoon found a number of country stars were willing to help her capture June Carter Cash on the big screen thanks to her father, who is a doctor in Tennessee. The actress asked her dad to contact his famous clients and ask them for their thoughts about the country legend as she prepared to star in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line.

She explains, "When I first got the job... I called my dad, and he helped me out by talking to a lot of his patients who knew her. They knew I was his daughter and that I was going to be playing her, so they were really helpful."

* Jamie Foxx’s new album will feature a tune he wrote for his 11-year-old daughter Corrine while he waited nervously for her birth. The star was so anxious about the health of his unborn baby, he sat down and wrote “Heaven Will Never Be the Same” to calm his nerves.

He says, "The song is basically saying that there was an angel up in heaven who was this little girl angel and it was God's favorite angel. She would always look at the plight of this couple who weren't able to have a kid, so, one day when God was having a role call, she didn't answer. She had snuck off and blessed them with a child."

* Tom Cruise refuses to comply with traditional wedding superstitions, and is planning to see his fiancee Katie Holmes in her wedding dress before their nuptials next year. The couple have postponed their marriage ceremony until late next year, to leave the actress time to lose weight following the birth of their first child together. When asked if he plans to wait until their big day to see Holmes' bridal gown, Cruise is adamant he wants to approve the dress before the ceremony. He says, "I want to see the dress."
