Roseanne Barr Threatens To Quit Hollywood, Then Takes It Back
-Actress Says She Was Drunk
Roseanne Barr threatened fans that she would leave Hollywood in a series of tweets on Friday night, but the comedienne insists she's not going anywhere.
The actress ranted about her recent failed TV developments, saying, "I'm never going to work in television again."
"I feel as if I've been insulted/assaulted for over a year," she continued. "Actually, for many years - from my first reality show to my second and two failed development details. Don't call me - I won't call you. I'm gone.
"Not ONE word remained of any ideas I had. I was constantly 'corrected' as if I had no track record whatsoever. I'm enraged over all of it."
But Roseanne went back on twitter shortly after to clear up her comments, saying she'd had too much to drink when she threatened to retire.
"No more drunk tweeting late at night for me!" she wrote, adding, "I'm writing directing editing & starring in my new show by myself. F**k everybody."
