Last night, Canada’s biggest music awards show, the Much Music Video Awards, shut-down Toronto’s entire downtown and we’re bringing you our favorite and not-so-favorite fashion and music moments!

Lady Gaga opened the show with a performance of her new single, “Edge of Glory,” and we’re sad to say little monsters, it wasn’t that impressive! Compared to her 2009 performance, this was a flop. Far East Movement, Snoop Dogg and Dev rocked the stage shortly after and showed Gaga a thing or two, woops. Did we mention The Black Keys were pretty much amazing?

As far as fashion goes, the 2011 MMVA host, Ms. Selena Gomez, takes home our best dressed award of the night by having not two, but four wardrobe changes—and the Disney sweetheart rocked every one of them. Our favorite? Her tan, haltered, bustier mini-dress, paired with purple, peep-toed pumps on the carpet; hot! As far as the men go, Much Music host, Jesse Giddings, looked fly sporting a sleek, black suit with sleeves rolled-up and a loosened, white button up. Looks like some of these celebrities need to take some swag tips from him. We wonder if he’s single…

Moving on, the absolute, worst dressed award goes to, drum roll please… Justin Bieber! We were quite disappointed since the Biebs usually looks like a ten from head-to-toe, but last night, what was he thinking? JB wore a Pepto-Bismol colored blazer with a crocheted handkerchief hanging out of his back pocket. Not to mention, he added a screen-printed t-shirt of Tiffani Amber Thiessen to his ensemble. Well, we all get to have one off night, right?
