After two months of sitting through auditions – sometimes badly given – of “American Idol” wannabes; the top 10 performers are finally revealed in an extended episode that had host Ryan Seacrest continually running from the waiting room to the stage as each singer was called backstage and “revealed” one at a time to sing a “victory song”.

Returning to Los Angeles to an updated Idol stage for the first performances the Idol judges made their first “runway” walk to their seats to observe and enjoy after the fans cast nearly 39 millions votes for their favourite singers.

Ryan kept reminded everyone that no one – singers, judges, audience – know who had made it through, only himself.

The fist singer through for season 12's top 10 was Paul Jolley. Bernell, Curtis, Devin, and Lazaro joined Paul on the “victory couch” as the season 12 guys; leaving Charlie, Nick, Vincent, Cortez, and Elijah as the eliminated singers.

For the girls it took her three tries but Janelle finally made it onto the show as one of the top 10. Candice, Angie, and Amber joined her and the guys on the “victory couch” as members of the top 10.

The final top 10 spot went to...

...Kree Harrison!

Zoanette, Aubrey, Teena, Adriana, and Breanna were eliminated.

Next week the competition gets tougher as the singers vie for the title of season 12 “American Idol”.
