The spotlight challenge began with the artists meeting McKenzie in a filed under the light of a full moon where they learned that the challenge was to create an original werewolf; but not just any werewolf, one that could be from another planet in the solar system that has at least one moon. The artists would again be placed into teams.

House and Meagan chose Mars
Eric Z and Autumn chose Jupiter
Eric F and Anthony chose Saturn
Wayne and Kris chose Neptune

Each week there are teams that work well together and other who do not; this week even more so when it was clear from the beginning that Autumn and Eric Z would not make a cohesive team. Autumn lost no time in telling McKenzie and Michael Westore that Eric redid her sculpture when he only worked on it.

After time had run out Anthony said that he didn't think it was possible for them to do so much work in such a short period of time - less than 20 hours.

Kris said that he had a lot of fun working with Wayne.

After the reveal judges Glenn Hetrick, Ve Neill, and Neville Page took a closer look at the characters making comments to each other as they went along. They were happy with some of the creations but very unhappy with others.

With Meagan having immunity, she let House take the lead on the project. The judges thought that their character was a great concept with a back-story; adding that the pair had made some brilliant decisions.

Eric F and Anthony again took on a big project that required a great deal of work; and while the judges commended the pair on the project, they were not happy with the result calling it Halloween with nightmarish proportions.

Wayne and Kris created some beautiful work with a really cool spine; the judges added that they had done an amazing amount of work with cohesive makeup work that began to look professional.

The judges termed Eric Z and Autumn's work a nightmare and a travesty. They noted the dysfunctional relationship with Ve telling Autumn that she didn't see the bad relationship because she was being too bossy. The judges called Autumn's attitude loathsome but it was unacceptable that Eric did not stand up for himself. Glenn said that if it had happened in his studio he would have fired them both.

The top looks for the week came from House and Meagan and Wayne and Kris. Glenn named Wayne and Kris the winning team with Kris taking the win for the second week in a row.

Of the bottom looks - Anthony and Eric F and Autumn and Eric Z - the artist eliminated from the competition was Autumn. Glenn told Autumn that while she took credit for the work, she didn't take ownership of the result. Autumn felt that Eric let her down and called it absurd for them to say that she didn't take direction or listen to her partner.

Next week the stakes get even higher when the artists face a double elimination.
