Hollywood Week has reached the end with one final episode where the singers will finally learn who will make it to the semi finals.

After the group round there are 47 girls remaning for the final solo round. For this round they may choose a song from the list or performa an original song – which a few did; and they can play an instrument while they sing.

Angela got the day started off and the remaining girls kept it up; but not everyone could move on including the “square peg in a round hole” Kez Ban who failed to impress the judges with her origina – he favourite – song.

Kree gave Keith goosebumps and blew Nicki away with her performance and wowed the judges enough to move on to the next round.

By the end of the day 24 girls had made the cut but the semi finals had only enough room for 20 girls. After calling all of the girls back on the stage, three of them were eliminated; but Stephanie and Rachel had to sing for their lives to earn the final spot with Rachel moving on.

With the top 20 girls set, it was time for the guys to finally learn which 20 of the 28 remaining guys would be chosen for the top 20. After Adam and Josh sang for their lives – and Josh tearing his pants – eight guys were called to step forward and told that they were not moving on; Adam was among them, but Josh – torn pants and all – made the top 20.

With the 40 semi finalists chosen, next week the singers will move on to Las Vegas for the “sudden death” round where they have one chance to sing one song before a live audience.
