Winner Announced on "The X Factor"

It’s the big night on “The X Factor” when the winner of a $5 million record contract will be announced.

 

In true Hollywood star fashion, the three finalists entered the theatre walking the red carpet singing “All You Need is Love”. 

 

Each of the acts performed a holiday song.  LA said that Tate had done an amazing job all season.  Simon said that he was very proud of his girls in Fifth Harmony and had his fingers crossed for them.  Britney said that Carly Rose never ceased to amaze her.

 

In the first results of the night host Mario Lopez revealed the act in third place…

Simon said that he thought they were going to be hearing a lot from the girls in the future.

 

Latin artist Pitbull performed his hit “Don’t Stop the Party” and British boy band sensation One Direction sang their new single “Kiss You” while dancing around a giant pair of lips.

 

The final performance of the night was a duet of “The Climb” by Carly Rose and Tate Stevens

 

The time had come to announce the big winner and after saying that 35 million votes had been cast after the final performances, Mario revealed the winner…

Tate and LA shared a big hug before Tate sang “Love You Like There’s No Tomorrow” as the eliminated singers joined him on stage.

 

“The X Factor” will return next fall for a third season.
