This week the eight singers are trying to fill only six spots and move a step closer to the semi finals in two weeks.  With a double elimination, the first act let go was revealed right away when host Mario Lopez announced that the act with the lowest votes was Paige Thomas.  Paige said that she was exited about her future.

Before any more results were revealed, last season’s finalist Josh Kracjik performed his new single “One Thing She’ll Never Know”.

Diamond White and Vino Alan will have to sing for their lives as they vie for the final spot in the top six but before they take the stage, Grammy Award winning artist Alicia Keys performs her hit “Girl is on Fire”.

In a three to one vote, the judges chose to send Vino Alan home.

Revealing that only one percent separated the top three and only one-tenth of a percent separated the top two, the rankings for this week are…
