Playoff Round Continues on "The Voice"

The playoff round continues on “The Voice” with performances from team Cee Lo and team Christina; but before the singers perform for fan votes, the teams join up for a group performance of “Sing”.


Adriana Louise got things started off with a performance of” “Firework” that the coaches called amazing, wonderful, and great.


Cody Belew took on George Michael with his performance of “One More Try” and not only had the girls screaming; but Adam calling it a genius choice of song.  Cody’s performance was called brilliant, his best performance yet, and perfect.


De’borah gave a rousing performance of “Who Knew” that the coaches called passionate, the real deal, and a great command of the stage.


Diego Val was given the opportunity to sing in both English and his native Spanish with the Enrique Iglesias hit “Bailamos” in a performance the coaches called solid but not his best.


Young heartthrob MacKenzie Bourg performed the One Direction hit “What Makes You Beautiful”.  The coaches called the performance entertaining and Adam compared MacKenzie to a fifties Buddy Holley throwback and called him an American Idol.


Devyn DeLoera performed “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis in what the coaches called a powerhouse performance and a great job but not her best.


Nicholas David took on the soulful Barry White with “My First, My Last, My Everything” in a performance the coaches called great and Blake said it blew his mind to hear a sound like that coming from a man like Nicholas.


Egyptian born singer Sylvia Yacoub gave her performance of “The One that Got Away” while playing the piano.  The coaches praised Sylvia’s musicianship and called the performance wonderful, great, with a connection on an emotional level.


Dez Duron gave a performance of “Wanted” that had the girls screaming and the coaches saying was great vocally, impressive, and spot on.  Christina called Dez the full package.


The last performance of the playoff round was from Trevin Hunte with the Michael Bolton hit “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”.  The coaches called the performance moving, captivating, and accomplished.


On Thursday’s results show season two winner Jermaine Paul returns, Adam and his Maroon 5 bandmates perform, and the results of the fan votes are revealed.
