More Shocking Results On 'Dancing with the Stars' As Two Go Home

Dancing with the Stars

For the second week the results on “Dancing with the Stars” has some shocking results.  With a double elimination no one was safe.

After a one hour special that gave fans a second look at the Monday night performances; the results show kicked off with the judge’s encore performance choice.  Head judge Len Goodman called the night’s dances the brilliant and the best he had ever seen.  Calling it a dance filled with fun and shear energy, Goodman wanted to see the Quickstep from Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough.

The first results of the night were Melissa and Tony, Giles and Peta, and Emmitt and Cheryl being safe but Kristie and Maks were in jeopardy.

The first guest performance of the night was from Frankie Moreno – a 21st century Jerry Lee Lewis who showed off some fancy piano tricks.  The “Dancing with the Stars” Troupe, Lacey Schwimmer, and Kyle Massey provided the dance entertainment.

The second set of results had Shawn and Derek, Apolo and Karina, and Kelly and Valentin safe but Drew and Anna were the second couple in the bottom two.

The first elimination of the night was between Drew and Anna and Kristie and Maks.  With his second trip to the bottom two singer Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya were the first couple eliminated form the competition.  In his last remarks Drew said that he would not have changed a thing; adding that he came back for the All Star season because it was fun.

On the performance show host Tom Bergeron revealed that the All Stars would be choosing the dances for next week.  After adding their scores for the past three weeks, the lowest scoring couple would choose for the top couple and so on, on down the line.

Bristol and Mark chose for Giles and Peta - Bollywood

Kristie and Maks chose for Sabrina and Louis - Disco

Helio and Chelsie chose for Shawn and Derek - Mambo

Kelly and Valentin chose for Emmitt and Cheryl - Bolero

Melissa and Tony chose for Apolo and K arina - Hip-Hop

Apolo and Karina chose for Melissa and Tony - Jitterbug

Emmitt and Cheryl chose for Kelly and Valentin - Contemporary

Shawn and Derek chose for Helio and Chelsie - Broadway

Sabrina and Louis chose for Kristie and M aks -  Charleston

Bristol and Mark got the remaining dance – Rock and Roll

In the AT&T Spotlight college student Joshua Johnson performed.  The tap dancer used his skills in the New York City subway to earn money for school expenses.

The platinum selling duo Karmin performed “Hello” and “Broken Hearted”.  The pair have garnered some half a billion hits online.

The final three couples learned their results with one of them being safe and the remaining two in the bottom and up for elimination.  Despite being in last place all three weeks of the competition and the subject of a “suspicious package” last week at CBS Studios, Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas were safe leaving Sabrina and Louis and Helio and Chelsie in the bottom two with one facing elimination.

Saying the previous night’s performances were like the finals, Tom Bergeron revealed that race car driver Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower were the second couple to be eliminated.

Helio thanked his race car owner Team Penske, the Indly Racing League, his family, Chelsie, and America for the opportunity to dance again.  Chelsie said that they had a blast.
