The Stars Celebrate Post-VMAs At 'In Touch's Icons & Idols' Party
The MTV VMAs were certainly something to write home about and thankfully in that letter we only mentioned one shocking moment, hi Miley. While MTV was making VMA history in Brooklyn, In Touch Magazine was throwing the hottest and most stylish after party just over the bridge at FINALE.
Following the live festivities in Brooklyn, celebrities such as Cuba Gooding Jr., Jason Derulo, Nick Cannon, Travie McCoy, and Jenny McCarthy to name a selected few, strutted their stuff on the plush red carpet at In Touch's sixth annual Icons & Idols post-VMA party.
Some of the cast of Jersey Shore were in attendance including Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magra (who by the way are still blissfully head-over-heels for each other and adorable I must add) Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, and Jenni "JWoww" Farley with her fiancé Roger Mathews.
Ask most of the guests what was the highlight of their Video Music Awards experience and they'd tell you Justin Timberlake.
Justin, who performed a 15-min set chronicling the span of his music career including a small bit with the other members of NSYNC, was definitely a favorite. "I loved the performance." Sammi gushed. "And NSYNC coming on even for just a short period that they did, I loved them. It was such a good feeling to be dancing and having fun." Sammi hinted that Ronnie was also into the performance carrying the excitement into the car ride over to the after party where he played, you guessed it, songs from *NSYNC.
“Modern Family’s” Sarah Hyland shared the same sentiment. When asked if there were any performances she enjoyed she said Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC adding that she was "dancing her ass off the entire time." For you “Modern Family” fans, you'll be happy to know that 3 episodes of the new season have been filmed and Sarah’s character Haley will have a new love interest this coming season. Though she isn't sure who it will be and where they will meet, we're looking forward to the new face.
After smiling and posing for the cameras it was time to dance into the wee hours of the night and what better way to do that than to have two celebrities and music makers on the wheels of steel.
Nick Cannon and Travie McCoy were the DJ’s for the night and kept celebs and guests in the groove with the latest and hottest. Throughout the night, guests were treated to touchups courtesy of Herbal Essences as well as a blu bar to puff on blu eCigs among other treats. Definitely a party they won’t forget any time soon.
The In Touch Icons & Idol’s post-VMA after party was presented by Diet Coke, Malibu Red Cocktails, RPZL, blu eCigs, Evolution of Smooth, COVERGIRL, and Herbal Essences.
