When Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering got the call in March to be a celebrity guest host for Chippendales, he started a diet and workout regime.
And, in three months, he lost 25 pounds and his body fat is down from 23 percent to somewhere closer to 15 or 16 percent. He went from 205 to 180.
Ian is 49 — the oldest celebrity guest host — and he took his month-long gig at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas seriously.
“it’s a testament to the foundation of accountability and doing what you set out to do and committing to whatever it takes to be successful. And that’s what I did. I mean I eat right, I was restricting calories, I was eating the right kind of food, and I was working out twice a day. It became part of my job,” he told the Las Vegas Sun.
His debut with the all-male revue was a rousing success Saturday night, but the Dancing with the Stars alum isn’t only popular with the fans, he’s now getting flirty texts from his wife. “I’m like ‘Magic Ian’ now,” he jokes.
