Recent reports claim that Paris Hilton has popped the big question to her boy toy beau River Viiperi.

A tabloid reports, “Paris asked for River’s hand because so many of her friends are engaged or already married with kids, and she didn’t want to be some sad, old loser left on the shelf.”

The snitch continues, “It’s incredibly impulsive because they’ve only been together a few months, but Paris believes River is the one. He’s given her an enthusiastic yes, but they’re keeping the engagement quiet for now.”

But the 31-year-old hotel heiress has taken to Twitter to debunk the rumors, telling her followers she is definitely not engaged to the 21-year-old model.

“Just to clear up another rumor, no I did not propose to my boyfriend. I have been getting a lot of congratulatory texts & tweets today about this. The truth is that we are very happy and in love, but this is yet another example of the media inventing a story with fake quotes from ‘sources.’ (meaning the writer’s imagination) Lol.
