Rashida Jones Apologizes For Her 'Thoughtless' John Travolta Comments

Rashida Jones is apologizing for comments she made about John Travolta’s sexual orientation, saying they were “thoughtless”.
In an interview with SpinningPlatters.com Jones, along with Celeste And Jesse Forever co-writer Will McCormack, discussed the need for more openly gay actors.
Jones said: “A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this. Big stars need to come out. Ricky Martin was huge. That was big; I was really happy about that… People are so precious about their careers.”
But she has since issued an apology via her Twitter, saying Travolta’s personal life is not her business.
“Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business.”
