Robin Thicke's personal life appears to be interefering with his professional one. The singer has cancelled three concerts on his North American tour following news that he's splitting with his actress wife Paula Patton.
The couple announced on Monday that they were separating after nine years of marriage.
Thicke axed two concerts over the weekend, which he blamed on vocal problems, and also pushed forward interviews that were scheduled for this week.
The singer also cancelled a performance at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina on Tuesday night. Venue bosses said "unforseen circumstances" were the reason.
A source told UsMagazine.com of the marriage split: "It has been a long time coming. It is not a shock to Robin or Paula, and it is something they have discussed for a long time."
Another insider said: "Their marriage was unraveling for a long time."
Thicke, 36, and Patton, 38, have a three-year-old son, Julian Fuego Thicke.
