Alicia Keys, John Mayer, More Stars To Salute The Beatles In Grammy Special
A new television special, "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles," will feature performances by John Legend, Alicia Keys and Maroon 5.
Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics will also reunite for the special, and John Mayer and Keith Urban will also participate, according to Grammy organizers.
The primetime show, presented by The Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS, will celebrate the iconic Beatles and their first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1964.
The special will air on Jan. 27, one day following the 56th Annual Grammy Awards -- a significant date because it will take place exactly 50 years to the day, date and time of the Beatles' groundbreaking appearance.
On "The Night That Changed America," today's most popular artists will perform cover songs of the Beatles' hits. The special will also feature archival footage.
