Britney Spears Storms Las Vegas With Fire-Breathers & Snake Charmers
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino welcomed Britney Spears' new residency in Las Vegas on Tuesday night with fire-breathers and snake charmers.
More than 1,000 fans swarmed the venue to catch a glimpse of the singer, who arrived in a white 1958 Chevy Impala convertible and wore a sequined black gown on the red carpet.
Dancers, contortionists and acrobats marked Spears' arrival, and she took time to sign autographs for fans, many of whom carried "Happy Birthday" banners for the pop star, who turned 32 on Monday.
"In Vegas! Celebrating #BritneyJean & #PieceOfMe with my new Vegas family. :)" she tweeted.
She accepted a bouquet of red flowers and reportedly told the Las Vegas Sun newspaper: I already feel like home here at Planet Hollywood. It's so nice to celebrate with this incredible welcome. I'm so excited for everyone to experience the new show."
The first concert from her "Britney Spears: Piece of Me" two-year residency kicks off on December 27.
