Orlando Bloom Opens Up About Miranda Kerr Split, Says He'll Always Love Her
The couple shocked fans when they annouced their break up a week ago, but the actor says they want to stay close to one another while they raise their son, Flynn, 3.
He told Katie Couric: "We love each other, we're a family, we're gonna be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives... There's no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn."
He added, "Life sometimes doesn't work out as we plan or as we hope for, but fortunately we're both adults. I mean, I'm 36 now, she's 30, and we're professionals, and we love and care about each other and we most of all love our son."
Soon after they announced their break up, the three of them were spotted together during a family day out in New York City. It appears Bloom is practicing what he's preaching.
