Lindsay Lohan To Face Lawsuit After She Gets Out Of Rehab
Lindsay Lohan will be served papers in her ongoing legal battle with her former fashion collaborators after she completes her court-ordered rehab treatment later this summer.
Earlier this year, the actress filed a $1.1 million lawsuit against D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, claiming she was cheated out of her share of profits when a 2009 business deal fell apart.
The clothing manufacturers countersued for breach of contract and fraud, blaming Lohan's "drug-addled image" and legal problems for making it impossible to sell her 6126 Collection to retailers.
According to TMZ.com, D.N.A.M. execs have agreed to wait until she is out of rehab in mid-August "in a gesture of good faith and so as not to disturb her healing process."
Lohan began her three-month rehab stint on May 3 by checking into Betty Ford Clinic. She was later transferred to Cliffside clinic in Malibu.
