"Dancing With The Stars" pro Kym Johnson is the latest celeb to strip for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
The completely naked blonde Australian dancer lies down seductively on the floor in a new ad. She holds a cuddly white rabbit in her arms with the tagline: "Be a Bunny's Belle of the Ballroom: Choose Cruelty-Free."
The ad also says: "Thousands of mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals are poisoned, burned, and killed in cruel product tests each year. Visit PETA.org to order your free Beauty Without Bunnies Cruelty-Free Shopping Guide."
Johnson admits she didn't realize the impact cosmetic testing had on animals until she saw Dave Navarro's PETA campaign. She told the organization: "I was so disturbed by what I saw. I didn't realize that animal testing was still being done, and it really shocked me, and it really made me think, what am I putting on my face?"
When she further researched cosmetics testing, what she found was disturbing. She explained: "Living their lives in cages, being injected in their eyes, and being blinded—it's terrifying the footage that you see, and no animal should have to suffer that way for our vanity."
Johnson is currently paired with "General Hospital" actor Ingo Rademacher on the 16th season of the popular dancing competition. She is a former Australian and South Pacific ballroom champion.
