We spotted newly single Ashlee Simpson hanging out with her son and friends in Hawaii on Saturday. The actress played in the water with her four-year-old son Bronx Mowgli, mother Tina, and newlywed friends CaCee Cobb and Donald Faison.

Simpson looked thin in a black bikini, baseball cap and sunglasses, while her pal CaCee appeared to be sporting a baby bump in a black string bikini. CaCee and Donald, who had been dating for over 6 years, recently got married in a secret ceremony. Perhaps a new baby had something to do with it?

One of the bridesmaids at the wedding was Jessica Simpson, who previously employed Cobb as her personal assistant.

Simpson, meanwhile, and her boyfriend Vincent Piazza split up around Thanksgiving. Simpson began dating Piazza in June 2011 after ending her marriage to rocker Pete Wentz, the father of her son.
