Sparks appears on the August cover of Shape magazine, showing off her hot new figure in a blue bikini. She said she lost weight by making changes in her lifestyle.

The singer will be honored with the prestigious Power of Youth award in New York City next month for her charitable contributions.

Sparks currently stars in "Sparkle" opposite the late Whitney Houston.
