Hayden Panettiere is back in the spotlight, and we're jazzed about it. The actress showed up to a VIP cocktail party to celebrate ABC's New York upfronts in New York City yesterday.

She showed off her curvy figure in a tight red dress with a black devil's tail hanging from the edge.

Hayden stars in the upcoming ABC series "Nashville." The show follows a country legend (Connie Britton) who goes on tour with a rising star (Panettiere). The young star schemes to upstage the older performer, whose career is waning.

Hayden recently starred in the cult NBC series "Heroes" and appeared in the films "Scream 4" and "Bring It On: All Or Nothing." She also played Amanda Knox in a made-for-television film.
