The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, went to the Claridges Ballroom in London yesterday. Kate looked lovely as always, wearing a sleek cream colored dress designed by Roland Mouret with a daring slit up the leg.

But unlike Angelina Jolie, who went a little overboard at the Oscars in February with her leggy dress, Kate's look was effortless. She paired the dress with sparkling sandals and a matching clutch.

Kate and William recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. The couple have been dodging rumors for the past year that she is pregnant. Royal watchers can't wait for the pitter patter of little footsteps in the palace.
