Mixed media artist and graphic designer Marko Manev has given the iconic superheroes a makeover, stripping the technicolor from each character for a black-and-white, noir spin in his a series of original art. Suddenly, a hushed fog falls over the Man of Steel as he flies through the air. Iron Man, or "The Armored Avenger," turns on the lights in what looks like a cold, desolate factory. And the Dark Knight? Well, he's still the same pensive, conflicted dude, surrounded by bats and watching over Gotham while considering his own mortality. That's the Batman we all know and love!
