First 'Carrie' Teaser: Chloe Moretz Is the New Girl on Fire
It ain't easy being a kid. And it's especially not easy being a kid who is growing up in the public spotlight like, say, Chloe Moretz is. Just think about all the awkward, embarrassing moments of your own youth and then imagine them being plastered across the internet. Rough business.
So we can only imagine how gratifying it must have been for Moretz to step into the iconic role of Stephen King's "Carrie" and get a chance to enact some much deserved psychic payback against everyone who ever posted a nasty tweet about her.
Payback which you can get a first look at right here thanks to the new "Carrie" teaser.
Originally published back in 1974, King's first novel became an international sensation thanks in part to the iconic 1976 film adaptation starring Sissy Spacek as the titular character, who develops telekinetic powers and goes on a deadly spree of revenge against the world that mocked her.
Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Moretz, who knows a thing or two about exacting revenge on film thanks to her turn as Hit Girl in "Kick-Ass."
"Carrie" is set to hit theaters on March 15. Here's the first teaser, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.
