One of our favorite things about James Franco is the fact that he's not only really cool, but he's also kind of creepy. You know, he's super intense and seems to always be laughing at some private joke that only he understands, but at the same time, he's really hot. It's a hard combo to pull off, but somehow Franco does it.

Which is good for us as film fans, but maybe not quite so good for Winona Ryder in the new trailer for "The Letter." 

Ryder, you see, plays a playwright hard at work on a brand new project. And luckily for her, Franco is there to play her leading man. There's just one problem: He may be stalking and trying to kill her.

Then again, it's quite possible the whole thing is taking place in Ryder's increasingly unbalanced mind. You know those wacky writers and their fragile hold on reality. Take a look at the new trailer, courtesy of Collider, and decide for yourself. James Franco: Cool or creepy?
