James Franco officially knows how to bend space-time.
There's no other way to explain how one of the busiest actors working today -- who also happens to be a (more or less) full-time grad student -- has found the time to write a novel. But a novel he has written, and he's sold it to Amazon Publishing, according to Vulture.
Franco's book is called "Actors Anonymous" and is reportedly a fictionalized version of his experiences as an actor -- which means it will probably feature fictionalized versions of Tobey Maguire, Sam Raimi, Danny Boyle, Andy Serkis and the hundreds of other industry-types he's worked with over the years. It will be fun to guess who's who...
"Actors" may be his first full-length novel, but it isn't James Franco's first foray into writing -- his collection of short stories, "Palo Alto," was published by Scribner in 2010 (and didn't exactly set the literary world on fire, but hey, you sometimes can't hit a home run with every one of your hyphenates).
No word yet on when "Actors Anonymous" will be available for purchase, but at the rate Franco seems to get things done, we wouldn't be surprised if you can buy it six hours from now. Well, maybe not that soon, but definitely sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile, James Franco is currently bending space-time to allow for making a cameo as Hugh Hefner in the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic, "Lovelace." We're sure this will be no problem.
