She's Alive! Yvonne Strahovski Heats Up 'I, Frankenstein'
Even though "The Killer Elite" proved to be less than action movie royalty, that's not going to stop a woman with the hotness of Yvonne Strahovski's magnitude from burning up the silver screen on a regular basis.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Aussie blonde will co-star in the action-horror flick as "a scientist working on reanimating the dead and tricked into working for demons seeking to create an army of the undead." That's particularly evil since those demons know creating an army of monsters is against union protocol.
The movie stars Aaron Eckhart, ready to go the whole nine yards after playing only half a monster in "Dark Knight," as Frankenstein's legendary creature pitted in a battle against unholy forces who want to gain the secrets of his shambling corpse.
Strahovski's contemporary from down under, Miranda Otto, will also co-star in "I, Frankenstein" as the queen of the gargoyles, an ally of Frankenstein. Otto is best known as the plucky Éowyn in the "Lord of the Rings" movies, where she famously declared, "I am no man!" before totally stabbing a wraith in the face.
Bill Nighy will play the demonic head bad guy and Socratis Otto (no relation) will be his henchman. Australian Stuart Beattie will direct in Australia this winter. Notice a distinct pattern of Aussiness?
