Matt Damon Spotted Bald, Still Beautiful On Set Of 'Elysium'
Now that he's lost his Bourne identity, A-lister Matt Damon has decided to channel the spirit of Yul Brynner to keep his head in the game. Yes, Good Will Hunting has gone bald, and the result is pretty badass.
According to AceShowbiz, some cunning photographers snapped pics of Damon on the Vancouver set of "Elysium," where he's playing an ex-convict of the tough-as-nails variety living in a future society with a very strict class hierarchy. We might guess his character is close to the bottom of that society, and none too pleased.
The film, Neill Blomkamp's hotly-anticipated follow-up to sleeper hit "District 9," has also just teased us with a look at said future via a fake website for "Armadyne," which promises it's "building a better world" which includes "zero-g welders, mega-structure engineers, quantum networkers and experts in zero-g coupling." That last part sounds pretty kinky. We're in.
As for who Damon might kick it to in zero gravity, you have a supporting cast which includes Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga and Diego Luna to speculate on.
Also, true fans of the Damonator will recall this is not the first time he's gone cue ball, as he shaved his head in 2003 for "The Brothers Grimm," and while filming in Prague shot a cameo in "Euro Trip" where you can see him in all his skinhead glory. Rock on, Bald Damon.
