Jane Lynch Playing A Nun In 'The Three Stooges'
Jane Lynch will be putting down the bullhorn she wields so well on "Glee" (or maybe not, who knows?) and donning a habit for her role as Mother Superior in the Farrelly Brothers' upcoming slapstick comedy, according to Deadline.
Mother Superior runs the orphanage where Larry (Sean Hayes), Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos) and Curly (Will Sasso) grew up. No one ever wanted to adopt the trio, despite her best efforts.
Lynch is funny, and she'll make "The Three Stooges" even funnier, especially if her Mother Superior can float across the room like the Penguin in "The Blues Brothers."
Besides appearing every week (more or less) as the tyrannical coach of the Cheerios on the Fox TV series, "Glee," Jane Lynch was recently seen in "Paul" and provided the voice of the goose Alice in "Rio," which is currently ruling the box office.
"The Three Stooges" will begin shooting this summer (hopefully) and will release its madcap antics unto theater in 2012.
