GIRLS: ‘Incidentals’ RECAP

The girls are back in the city for a brand new episode of HBO’s Girls. Hannah has an interview with Patti Lupone (last seen in American Horror Story:Coven), Marnie makes two new friends, and Adam lands his gig on Broadway. Overall, it was a good episode, I mean nothing can top last week’s ‘Beach House’ episode when Shosh went ham and confessed she hated everyone.

While she waits for Patti at some fancy lunch spot in NYC she gets a phone call from Patti’s people telling her that Patti will not be able to make it. Hannah convinces the publicist to tell her wher...

Song of the Week: ‘Simple Things’ Miguel

February 24th, 2014 11:06am EST
This song played on last night’s episode of Girls. I love it, and I can’t believe they actually played a Miguel song on that show. Anyways, I’ve already listened to it like 45 times, check it out and enjoy!

Louis and Harold
O-M-G the wait has been brutal! Mike, we missed you…Harvey…we love you. That promo looks absolutely insane, whatever it is, whatever is in store for Mike in the coming months is going to be totally awesome. Most of the main cast now knows about Mike’s secret, and the mid season finale ended off with Louis finding out- so s**** about to hit the fan. Also, it looks like things are getting serious between Harvey and Scottie- and Harvey’s real life dad (Stephen Macht the man behind the desk) makes an appearance on the show. Cannot wait for this one. If you haven’t seen Suits, you need to watch ...

The Walking Dead: VOTE

February 19th, 2014 11:26am EST
Last Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead was probably one of my favourites. I love how they included everyone’s story (except Rick,Michonne,Carl) and it all fit into the 48-minute timeframe. The biggest question coming out of the mid-season finale was what’s going to happen to everyone and if baby Judith was alive. For now, it seems like everyone is okay- even da baby (wasn’t too worried about that one). Even Carol is brought back when she finds her adoptive girls and meets up with Tyreese. She made her way back to the prison right after the showdown with The Governor, she saw Tyreese and ...

LOL is someone trying to give us an anxiety attack? Last Sunday HBO released a 14-minute video that shares some insight on the upcoming fourth season of their ground breaking series- Game of Thrones. The trailers are usually 1-3 minutes, this one is surprisingly long and features interviews from the cast on their predictions for the new season.
As someone whose read the fourth book (A Feast for Crows) I can assure you it’s going to be a crazy start (they held off on some crazy moments from the third book). I love the anticipation leading up to the season premieres, l...

Orange Is The New Black: Season 2 Premiere Date!

February 14th, 2014 6:18pm EST
Word on the web is the second season of Orange is the New Black will premiere on April 25th. This isn’t confirmed yet by Netflix, but some sources are blaming Google for posting that date on some of their search results.

Danielle Brooks who plays Tasty revealed via Twitter that the premiere date has been set but didn’t reveal it.
It’s probably going to be around Spring so that date is probably the closest thing we have to a OITNB countdown. Also, Netflix will be releasing season 2 all at once. We hope that’s true.

Drake Lashes Out on Twitter!

February 14th, 2014 10:10am EST
What’s my man up to now? Well, after Rolling Stone featured Philip Seymour Hoffman on this month’s cover instead of Drake, he took to the Twitterverse and let his fans know just how he felt.

Two things to say about this:
1) Drake, you are one of my favourite artists the other being a close tie between RiRi and Yonce. You’ve been in this game a while now so you should know how this all works. Even though we all want to hear what’s in your heart, you don’t need to get on Twitter and act like a 15-year old.
2) I get it, Hoffman was a genius/amazing actor/friend/father/whatever he can be prais...

Quentin Tarantino Scraps 'Hateful Eight’ After Script Leak, Names Possible Culprits

January 22nd, 2014 11:57am EST
Quentin Tarantino
We all know how obsessive and private one can get when writing a screenplay. For someone to leak Quentin Tarantino's script for his new western film titled, ‘The Hateful Eight’ is absolutely ridiculous.

Here’s what Tarantino had to say about this:

“I finished a script, a first draft, and I didn’t mean to shoot it until next winter, a year from now,” said the Oscar-winning film-maker to “I gave it to six people, and apparently it’s gotten out today.

“I gave it to one of the producers on Django Unchained, Reggie Hudlin, and he let an agent come to his house and read it. That’...

Song of the Week: DRAKE

Check out our Song of the Week called ‘Trophies’ by none other than Drake. He performed a snippet of this song on this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live.

By the way, his performance on SNL was absolutely brilliant. I’ve never seen an episode where I’ve laughed at every single sketch. With him, the entire night was hilarious, he’s such an entertainer, and he’s even funnier when he’s making fun of celebs. Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z were some of the impersonations he did on Saturday night.
