Medical records from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles were improperly accessed where Kim Kardashian gave birth in June, resulting in the firing of six medical workers.
Kim Kardashian has been linked to the scandal amid allegations employees "inappropriately accessed" medical records of patients while the TV reality star was recovering in the facility following the birth of her daughter.
Kardashian and her partner Kanye West became first-time parents when baby North was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on June 15, and it has now been reported that several workers have been fired for looking at patients' records in mid-June.
Officials at the hospital have announced that 14 patients' files were "inappropriately accessed" between June 18 and 24 June, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Bosses at the facility have not revealed if Kardashian, who checked out about a week after North's arrival, was affected by the breach, but editors at TMZ.com report the star was one of the patients targeted.
