In honor of those who lost their lives, survived the attacks, helped in rescue efforts or were personally affected - MyGoodDeed (www.911day.org), a leading 9/11 nonprofit organization, and HandsOn Network, the volunteer activation division of Points of Light Institute - have just launched an inspiring national PSA campaign themed "I Will."
The PSA features survivors and relatives of 9/11 victims, along with celebrities (such as: Samuel L. Jackson, Mariska Hargitay, Ali Larter, Katleen Turner, Melissa Joan Hart, Selita Ebanks, Paulo Costanzo, Hilary Duff, Bridget Moynahan, Jordin Sparks, Denise Richards, Harold House Moore, Kelly Rutherford, Rupak Ginn, Aisha Tyler, Samantha Harris, Jessica Stroup) and athletes (such as: New York Yankees' Mark Teixeira, NFL Linebacker Dhani Jones, Cleveland Cavaliers' Baron Davis, and Coach Jim Fassel) to encourage people everywhere to engage in good deeds and join the effort.
THE GOAL of this powerful campaign is to organize the single largest day of charitable service by achieving ONE MILLION GOOD DEED TRIBUTES before September 11, 2011.
