Seven Deadly Scenes From A Nightmare On Elm Street

Before there was "Saw," there was "A Nightmare On Elm Street." And before there was Jigsaw, there was Freddy Krueger. With the upcoming release of "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake, we've decided to compile a list of the seven best kill scenes from Wes Craven's original cult classic. If you like blood and gore, then the following scenes are perfect for you to watch.

One Last Breath

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master"
Method of Execution: Human Deflation
Description: Sheila, a teenage girl who suffers from asthma, is pulled into her friend's nightmare where Freddy is waiting. Freddy approaches Sheila from the teacher's desk in a classroom and grabs her face to kiss, sucking all the air out of her body like a balloon. Sheila wakes up from the nightmare and dies from a asthma attack.

Wet Dream

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master"
Method of Execution: Waterbed drowning
Description: Freddy enters the dream of a mute teenage boy named Joey while he's sleeping in his room on his waterbed. In the dream, Joey is drawn to a pretty poster model swimming inside of his bed. Then she disappears and Freddy appears, tearing through the waterbed and shoving Joey under the water while stabbing him to death. Joey is found dead inside of his waterbed.

A Mouth Full

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child"
Method of Execution: Choking from food
Description: Freddy enters the dream of a Greta, a model who watches what she eats. He force-feeds her large amounts of the insides of her own body until she chokes to death.

No Strings Attached

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
Method of Execution: Sleepwalking death
Description: Phillip is a sleepwalker admitted to Westin Hills Psychiatric Center and enjoys making marionette puppets. In his dream, Freddy appears as one of  his paper-mâché puppets in massive size. Freddy rips open the veins and tendons in Phillip's arms and legs and controls him like a puppet master, eventually leading him to the top of an abandoned tower and causing him to jump out of the top window.

Up Against The Wall

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street"
Method of Execution: Mangling/body to wall banging
Description: Freddy slashes Tina in her dreams and bangs her bloody body against the wall and ceiling as her boyfriend watches nearby.

Big Break On TV

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
Method of Execution: Head smashing through TV screen
Description: Jennifer, an aspiring TV actress, is one of the Westin Hills asylum patients determined to fight Freddy Krueger. She tries to keep herself awake by burning herself with cigarettes and watching late-night TV. One night the TV shuts off and Jennifer walks over to inspect it. This is when Freddy appears in the TV screen and grabs her head to smash it into the TV.

Motorbike Death Wish

Film: "A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child"
Method of Execution: Vehicle collision
Description: After his girlfriend, Alice (the main protagonist in the film) calls to tell him that Freddy's back, Dan rushes to his truck to drive to her side. But then he falls asleep and finds Freddy sitting alongside him. Later, he is thrown out of the truck and decides to use a motorcycle nearby to get to Alice. But he can't escape Freddy. The motorbike turns into a live creature and attaches itself to Dan's skin causing him to crash. Dan then wakes up behind the wheel of his truck and collides with  an oncoming tractor trailer.
