The Classics never die, that was evident on Tuesday night when the Doobie Brothers played the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown, NJ. I was looking forward to the show since I was meeting up with an old friend and wanted to shake up my musical landscape a bit and give something new a try since it’s a bad I would not normally gravitate too. Since it’s something I didn’t want to do alone, I took a friend along to enjoy the concert with me. Truth be told the band was suited more to her age bracket than mind the average age was adults in their fifties, I guess all my efforts get...

I can't really tell you how I got to this point except that I heard the music and followed it. In discovering the music of Vertical Horizon, I found more than just great music, I found my passion and myself. I am a writer and I was meant to write about music. Sometimes one decision can change your life, sometimes fate steps in to show you the way and help you recognize your purpose and passion, for me it was a little bit of both. I had always loved music and writing but to think I could combine the two didn't happen until I found the one band that would change my life forever.

Talent, determination and a big dream, are some of the attributes one needs to succeed in any type of creative career, but especially music and singer/songwriter Brian Jarvis has that in spades. Every artist has that one goal to make his mark on the music scene and Jarvis is no exception. Jarvis has put it all on the line in pursuit of his passion. After being influenced by artists like John Mayer and Vertical Horizon Jarvis has come up with a signature sound that’s catchy pop rock with a country and indie edge. His sound has drawn comparisons to the likes of John Mayer, Pat McGee, The Gi...

On the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Part 2 it seemed to be Teresa vs. Everyone Else, everyone who is sane that it. Many viewers have felt that Ms. Guidice has been unfairly targeted and treated this season but especially in the reunion special. However, the proof is in the pudding and Teresa is the one that has been jabbing first it’s one instant where fame has certainly gone to one’s head. It’s safe to assume that Teresa will be exiled or at least receive an icy reception from the housewives in season 4. Host Andy Cohen began the night with some saucy topics mainly inquiring about...

Last Sunday’s part one reunion of the housewives of New Jersey is certainly what no expected it was the reunion from hell. The reunion divided the cast, pinning Teresa and Caroline against one another trading jabs all night and the only ally Teresa had was herself. Towards the end of the season viewers found out that Teresa was playing both sides for each of her two faces and some of the wives weren’t going to let her get away with it. It all culminated with the season finale when Teresa’s latest cookbook “ Fabulicious” was released, realizing she could sell more cookbooks with flies than...

There was music and much more Tuesday night at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ. Music 4 More, a charity that raises funds and resources for music programs in schools as well as community organizations, sponsored the event, it does so by repairing used instruments and making them new again so they can be used by organizations that could not afford them otherwise. The charity embarked on a six city tour entitled “Songs from the Vine” and partnered with Wines Til Sold Out which is an online store that focuses on selling wine up to 70% cheaper than internet and store prices. The season finale led to some shocking admission Sunday night when Caroline found out how Teresa truly feels about her and Teresa burned bridges with anyone and everyone for the sake of attention and fame because causing a fight is the only way she can get it. However, first Teresa tries to end the family drama she’s caused in the past by having the Gorgas and Guidices get together for a family portrait. A task that proves less exhausting than one would have thought and for about an hour everyone gets along, resulting in a beautiful picture. Meanwhile at the Laurita household Ashley’s dra...

In Punta the drama continues as Teresa continues to lament over Kathy’s comments that were taken out of context. It looks like Teresa is looking for a fight and wants to continue to hold a grudge against her saintly cousin. Kathy tries to reiterate to the group that her comment was not even aimed at Teresa but just how she felt in general and the group tells her not to worry, they know what she meant. Kathy still takes responsibility and Ritchie tries to smooth things over with Joe Guidice and it seems like Joe doesn’t want to deal with the problem or his wife anymore, as he is sick over h...

On Sunday’s episode of Drop Dead Diva, the episode opens as many of the show’s episodes have with a musical number. The number disguised as usual in one of Jane’s many dreams has an Italian theme running through it. After dreaming about a bunch of half-naked men dancing around her to “Mambo Italiano” Owen surprises Jane by waking her up with a cup of coffee. After telling Owen about her dream of Italy, he takes her out for an Italian breakfast. Jane asks Owen if he saw Stacy they had a fight and she hasn’t talked to her. Owen tells her that he hasn’t seen her but doesn’t think she ever ca...

It’s time to party and in Punta, Cana that is when the housewives head to the Dominican republic to try to resolve and get rid of some of the drama that has followed them during this season. They don’t have a chance; the drama will doesn’t and will never change between these ladies only the location. The episode begins with the drama of packing and seeing how much luggage they can bring and have the plane still be light enough to take off.
At the Gorgas, Melissa is busying looking for her dental floss, I mean string bikini and other accessories that make her look more fablicious than he...
