Dolly Parton set the record straight about recent stories that she's covered with tattoos while promoting her 42nd album, "Blue Smoke," on "Today" Wednesday morning.
The country superstar has been rumored for some time to have exquisite body art all over her arms and on her breasts, and she told host Savannah Guthrie that she does have some ink -- just not as much as all the stories say.
Parton, who is almost always seen wearing long sleeves, laughed the stories off, saying that the sleeves aren't hiding anything, but she does have a few small tattoos that she got to hide old scars.
"I do have a few, but they're not where you can see." She told Guthrie, adding, "I have a few, but they're mostly for my husband."
Parton, who has been married to husband Carl Thomas Dean for almost 50 years, also revealed that Dean isn't a fan of hers.
"He's a good guy. It's like we know each other so well," Parton said. "I know every line in his face, and he knows every hair in my wig."
