Jimmy Fallon took over hosting "The Tonight Show" Monday night, bringing his classic style of comedy along with him, from a skit with guest Will Smith about the evolution of hip-hop dancing to a gag that involved a plethora of cameos from the likes of Robert De Niro, Lady Gaga and new late-night rival Stephen Colbert (both of their shows fall in the 11:30 time slot).

The move took the show back to New York after spending over 40 years in California since host Johnny Carson first moved it there in 1972, and was a huge success in the ratings, raking in over 11 million viewers for the first show, which started at midnight because of the Sochi Olympics.

We're sure Jimmy will have lots of memorable moments to come on his iteration of "The Tonight Show," much like some of his best stuff from his past five years hosting "The Late Show" and from being a cast regular on "Saturday Night Live" before that.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from Fallon's runs on both shows...

Jimmy stars with pal Justin Timberlake in "The Barry Gibb Talk Show." The two have collaborated on numerous skits, and we can't wait until Justin's first appearance on "The Tonight Show." So good we've got two of them, one above, and one below...

Jimmy and Justin star on SNL's version of "Family Feud," which will surely crack you up. Jimmy plays "Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons, while Justin plays Jimmy. Watch as the two crack each other up in this, one of their finest skits ever...

Justin joins Jimmy again and the two put their musical talents on display in "History of Rap." So far there have been four, and we're dying for more.

Jimmy and guest Joseph Gordon Levitt are challenged to a lip-synch battle by an unlikely challenger, fellow guest Stephen Merchant. Pure gold.

Young Jimmy & Justin sing Toto's "Africa" at summer camp.

Jimmy and Justin poke fun at twitter, adding the "#Hashtag" to everyday lingo...

Bruce Springsteen joins Jimmy Fallon for a "Born To Run" parody of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
