Selena Gomez kicked off the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys' football game on Thursday afternoon.
The singer performed her hits "Walk Like A Champion" and "Come And Get It" during a short halftime set of the game between the Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Texas native, who hails from nearby Grand Prairie, was joined by her own dancers and the legendary Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders during her performance.
"Proud to be performing for a great organization today during the @DallasCowboys game. Support @SalvationArmyUS," she tweeted earlier Thursday.
The 123rd annual holiday campaign helps provide things like clothing and shelter for families in need. It's the 17th consecutive year the Cowboys have partnered with the organization to kick off the charity drive.
"I'm from Texas, so I'm a little nervous, I'm not going to lie," Selena said earlier this month when it was announced that she would perform. "But I'm very honored and I hope that we come - me, my dancers and my band - and we give Texas a really good show and I make them proud.
"I don't think you can be from Texas and not watch a Cowboys Thanksgiving game. (Fans) should expect something new with a twist of old... We had to make it special for my hometown."
The Salvation Army has raised over $1.75 billion since partnering with the Cowboys organization.
