It's official, Diddy's "Making The Band 3" girl group Danity Kane is set to reunite at tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, according to Perez Hilton.com. It's the group's first public appearance in four years.
Rumors that the group was reuniting started surfacing back in May, when Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres were spotted having lunch together.
Aubrey posted an out of focus image of the group, minus Wanita 'D. Woods' Woodgett, on her Instagram page on Saturday, following it with four more shots, each one more in focus and with two letters of the band's name.
Finally, on Sunday, she posted the clear photo with the message, "DANITY KANE is officially BACK!"
The group reportedly has a big announcement to make on the red carpet of Sunday night's show, held at Brooklyn, New York's Barclays Center.
Danity Kane was created on the third season of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' MTV series Making The Band. The group's first two albums debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, the first time a girl group has accomplished the feat.
UPDATE: The girls confirmed that they are back together during a red carpet interview, and they have a new single, "The Rage", on the way soon.
