The Wolverine topped the weekend box office with $55 million in ticket sales, more than double the number-two film, "The Conjuring," now in its second week. "Despicable Me 2" remained in the top three for its fourth-straight week, while "Turbo" and "Grown-Ups 2' rounded out the top five. Check out our review of "The Wolverine" here.

Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter JJ Cale died on Friday at age 74. The guitarist died at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, California after suffering a heart attack. Cale was famous for writing numerous hits for such artists as Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tom Petty. (story)
