Kim Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe are in legal hot water again. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars are now being sued by a make-up artist claiming they stole the name of her cosmetics brand and is seeking $10 million in damages.
Lee Tillett filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court Wednesday against the three sisters and marketing agency Boldface Group Inc., claiming their Khroma Beauty collection infringes on her Kroma line.
"I developed the Kroma line myself, built my business through my own hard work, and took the legal steps necessary to protect it," Tillett says. "And yet I have now been forced into legal battle with the Kardashians simply because they have decided to take something that doesn't belong to them."
The sisters, who stand to make up to $6.2 million for the cosmetics line, are also being sued by L.A. based Chroma Makeup Studio.
A statement from Kardashian spokesperson Todd Wilson says that the girls "have acted properly at all times".
