Natalie Portman has married long-time partner Benjamin Millepied in a weekend wedding ceremony at the couple's private residence near Big Sur, California.

The couple, who met on the set of Black Swan, were wed in a Jewish ceremony with close family and friends in attendance.

Portman, 31, and millipied, 35, began dating in 2009 and announced their engagement in December 2010, the same time that the Oscar winning actress announced that she was pregnant. The couple became first-time parents to a son, Aleph, in June 2011.

It was rumored in February, during the Academy Awards, that the couple had secretly married after being spotted with matching bands on their wedding ring fingers; but neither would confirm or comment on any details.

The couple's rings are made of "recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds," jeweler Jamie Wolf confirmed to Us Weekly at the time.

According to UsMagazine.com, the wedding ceremony took place in the dark and under a traditional Jewish Chuppah (canopy).
