Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez celebrated last week's Independence Day in America by giving up independent life to become Mrs. Ryan Debolt.

The 36 year old actress quietly wed in New York City and her representative confirmed the news to website JustJared.com on Monday with a statement that reads: "On July 4th 2012, after a year long engagement, Sara Ramirez and Ryan Debolt were married in an intimate ceremony in New York. The private event was attended by close family and friends."

Ramirez and the business analyst announced their engagement last June.
