First Teaser Trailer For 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' Promises An 'Epic Finale'
Billed as "The Epic Finale That Will Live Forever," the first official teaser trailer for this fall's final chapter in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, has arrived.
Twi-hards were given a reason to celebrate Edward Cullen's (Robert Pattinson) 111th birthday on Wednesday, just a day after a promising 10-second sneak peek was released.
"After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found I could shine. I was born to be a vampire," says Bella Cullen Kristen Stewart in a voiceover to begin the clip, which promises plenty of action and suspense.
The final chapter of Stephenie Meyer's vampire saga focuses on Edward and Bella's half-human, half-vampire daughter, Renesmee, and the couple's struggle to protect her from the Volturi - the vampire world's most powerful coven.
"The Volturi aren't supposed to be the villains, the way they seem to you. They are the foundation of our peace and civilization," Edward explains to Bella and Jacob (Taylor Lautner in the book.
But when one character goes to them to inform them about the couple's baby they set their sites on Renesmee.
"I have to report a crime. The Cullens, they've done something terrible," she tells the coven's leader, Aro (Michael Sheen).
Edward amasses an army of vampire covens to take on the Volturi and the final battle begins.
"I'll never let anybody hurt you," Bella tells Renesmee before the battle begins.
The final chapter begins on November 16.
