Quincy Jones To Receive ASCAP Founders Award

Legendary producer Quincy Jones is to be presented with one of the industry's highest honors during the upcoming Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.
The music icon will receive the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Founders Award in recognition of his lifetime of achievements.
Jones produced Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" record and has won a whopping 27 Grammy Awards.
He joins an esteemed group of previous winners, including Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Patti Smith and Stevie Wonder.
The ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards will take place in Los Angeles on June 29.
