Neil Diamond is married again after walking down the aisle with fiance & manager Katie McNeil on Saturday. A representative confirmed the news to People Magazine, saying that the couple were wed in a small ceremony that included just some close friends and family.
Diamond shared his engagement news with his fans via his Twitter page last September.
"Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil," he wrote.
Diamond, 71, also posted a picture of his then-fiance, 42; writing, "I'd like you to meet Katie. I'm lovestruck. I took this photo in London last month. Neil."
It's the third marriage for the "Sweet Caroline" singer - his first came in 1963 to high school sweetheart Jayne Posner. The couple divorced in 1969, after which he married Marcia Murphey that same year. Diamond and Murphy divorced in 1995.
The singer has two children from each marriage.
A friend of the couple told Britain's The Daily Mail that Diamond "got burned" in his last divorce, but couldn't wait to get married again.
